Wild Mountain Navajo Pinion Cones and Sap for Incense
A bagful of these petite cones are gathered each fall from pinion trees up in the mountains. While the sap - or pitch - drips down the bark and even onto the ground, each little cone is covered in the fragrant pitch. Now there is no greater fragrance than this one. And while the pitch can be messy to use for fragrancing your room ,one little cone, set over a charcoal or piece of smoldering wood can do the same with no fuss.
